LATIN CLUB The Latin Club Mr Orr Advisor U The primary purpose of the Rus sian Club is to acquaint the students with the importance of Russian to day and to teach the students how to converse in Russian The club under the guidance of Mr White has viewed films and l1s tened to Russian songs and stories This club is somethinv new but the enthusiasm of the members has ffnfn the administration the hope that this club will Crow and esentu ally become a permanent part of our school life 78 RUSSIAN CLUB Latin, known as a dead language, seems to be very alive at Wilson. The club, which has an enrollment of twenty-six Latin students, is under the sponsorship of Mr. Orr. The club's primary purpose is to conduct educational activities per- tainin to Latin and to give added help to Latin students Many of the activities at Wllson have included the Latin Club At our Christmas Concert in December the club cave an excellent performance of Latin Chrlstmas carols Through out the school, one can see the Latin Club s displays In the future the Latin Club plans to sponsor many more HCLIVILICS to acquaint the student body with Latin The Rus lan Club 'Nlr White Advisor al Laila .
