s Seaman s Leazlingham Clark I ' t cf ' vv 'f i V .,vs.fQ.,'- hey guide us Under the supervision of Miss Florence Seaman, Wilson took a decided step forward in its growing-up process. There were many problems to solve and solve them Miss Seaman did, easily and efficiently in her quiet way. lt was no time at all until she had become a well-known figure about the Wilson came V pus. a Another fine administrator entered W'ilson this S last year in the person of Miss Leadingham, Girls' H ' - ' Vice-Principal. With her gracious manner she quickly 5 ' Q, - became the friend of every girl in the school. Plan- . ning the social calendar and counseling for the girls . H-A were but two of her duties. ' Ever-popular Mr. Clark, Boys' Vice-Principal, con- ' - ' ' ', tinues on in his role of chief problem-solver for the boys. Sincere and thoughtful, he is admired by all - x lt who know him. We couldn't have succeeded in our many senior activities without the help and guidance of our class sponsors, Mrs. Brooks, Miss Winford, and Mr. Berger. They were always willing to give their time and energy in doing all they could to steer us right. To them, we say simply, 'l'hanks! To the Graduates of S '44: ' You are graduating at a most critical time in the wcrld's history. Your plans for the future cannot be made and anticipated as readily as in normal times, but when these difficult days are over you will return to a pattern of life for which your high school days have laid a foundation. Days of service on the war and home front will again become normal days in a new kind of world however, due to the marvelous inventions and new ideals given birth during these War years. The World needs desperately the leadership America can give in tolerance, brotherly love, security and the four freedoms. May the fine things which have been America and which we can now give to a war- sick world, not perish! Yours is the challenge! May you-the sons and daughters of Wilson lead as we turn swords to plough shares 'hates to lovefwar to peace. FLORENCE I. SEAMAN, Principal. Mr. Berger Mrs. Brooks Miss
