But you live. For you built not in wood but in boys, in their hopes and plans, their little tables and shelves and qifts for Mothers' Day, their foibles and frailties, their days, their hearts. They were your friends, you their comrade, your qoinq their deep loss. They will not forget you, these loyal friends of yours. For you built in them: you built in boys. You built in men and women, your companions here at work, comrades-in-arms in the fiqht for youth, its rectitude, the fulfillment of its promise and hope, its place in the world to come. You built in our school, from the days of its beqinninq. You live in what it is, in all that it may be. We say not qood-bye to you, for you live. You live in what you have built with us, in that which cannot die. Adios, Bill Edwards, true comrade. By Mary Powelll Anderson Mr Edward Williams Edwards

ln pride, companionship, and honor, we devote this small page in our memories to those l8 boys ot our class now serving our country in Navy Blues. Serving their country well on all the bat- tle tronts of the world, these l8 boys will soon be joined by many other members ot our class. Three of these boys, lerry Del-laan, Gor- don Hall, and Tom Middlemore, will receive their diplomas, but in our hearts, each and everyone ot them shall be on the platform with us and receive honors much greater than our little acknowledgements ot mere service to our school.
