A. members have been proud ot their accomplishments. Starting with two complete G. A. A. teams in the ninth grade the Sheiks slowly dwindled down to a meager seven taithtul girls in their senior year. leanne Lesch and Vivian Worthington were the two members of the Sheiks who attained the highest honor the Girls' Athletic Association could offer by becoming tour-star lettergirls. Peggy Milnor, Pat Dean, Eleanore Pickles Hines, and Ethel Kamienny are the three-star let- tergirls, with Eleanor Dickens, two-star lettergirl, missing her third star because oi her appendix.

Herman Auxlel Don Auxier Iack Chell Bob Clark Chuck Iohnson Frank Kaden Frank Marlin Paul McComack lack Nichols Bry Thome Dave Wilson totrzdns... lt's quality and not quantity that Wilson coaches lose at the Senior graduation this lune as nine let- termen, representing every sport in high s:hool athletics, bow out. l-leading this list are three top performers, Bry Thorne, Don Auxier, and lack Chell. Bry Will be Well remembered for his all- league recognition in football and his hard-run- ning body in both track and cross country. Don Won the all-league high jump to top off a string of eight letters earned in football, basketball, and track, While lack Chell's cleverness at ball handling and dead-eye shooting earned him four basketball monograms in Cee, Bee, and Varsity competition. Others leaving are Frank Martin, one of the best softball hitters in Mule history as well as a bee football letterman, Charlie lohnson, a human tor- nado in his last year of Aye football, l-loiman the Hoimat Austel, a classy performer on the long- horse for Coach Calhoun's gymnastsg and Dave Wilson, another gym club expert who specialized in the parallel bars. Bob Clark's fast-moving tennis racket at one time rated him number one on the tennis squad. lack Nichols, a newcomer, broke into the tennis lineup and earned a varsity letter. And then there is long-legged, red-haired Frank Kaden, an E83 specialist who lettered in varsity track. Paul Mc- Comack hoisted his rugged frame around on the rings Well enough to earn a big in gym club.

m the gongs oil heretv Social Events have been limited this past year at Wilson, but regardless we have gathered many members. Our picnic was a complete success, as was the potato salad, hot dogs, and punch. Color Day for the Sheiks will long be remembered and exclaimed over in such words as glamorous, picturesque, romantic, colorful!! An Indian Forest sur- rounded our dance floor for the prom we sponsored. As guests at its sequel this semester, we spent an evening to be long remembered. At our senior tea and breakfast, food was secondary to the class spirit that reigned. s 'IHE TIME OF YOUR LIFE'-thats what we had in our senior year at Vlfilson: above fun at the picnic, Ah-h-h-h-h, lust posin', Pioughin' 'em up, Loafing, Batterup, Camera shy, Aain't it grand.
