Faculty meetings are sometimes conducted by the teachers, themselves, as was the case at this library meeting. English teacher Corin Humphries, flanked by other members of the panel, is shown reading a paper. Teachers Associate Outside of Classrooms Teachers also enjoy social affairs. Mr. J. W. Record clerk Gladys Hardy, spends most of her time at this school carefully copying every pupil’s grades from the teachers’ report sheets to the permanent record. Miss Hardy checks the accuracy of all averages and calls on teachers to correct any errors found Balancing the books is simple for textbook custodian Kenneth Hale. Helping him in the bookroom are Vince Bernhart and Marian Wooldridge. Even a coach has paperwork to do. Football coach J. C. Riley maintains an office in the boys’ gymnasium and has Alice Smith as his “Girl Friday.” Curdy, and Sally Allen.
