WOODROW CHRISTMAS Is there a Santa Claus? Certainly there is. and one doesn't mean “Santa Leavell. although he is a good one. As long as there is the spirit of generosity and good will, as at Woodrow at Christmas time, one can have faith in the personification of that spirit. Preparation for the holidays is felt many weeks away, as students and teachers look forward to family reunions, brightly colored packages and sumptuous Christmas dinners. Christmas greetings are heard in the halls (even a “Feliz Navidad occasionally I, and carols are sung everywhere—in the band and chorus rooms, the cafeteria. classrooms, and even in the gym dressing rooms. . . and a-WA they of a thistle!” all flew, like the down Pajama-clad Beverly Bennett recites the traditional “A Visit from St. Nicholas ( I was the night before Christmas”) on the Christmas assembly. llmmm . . TWELFTH MAN ACTIVITIES MANY Real live doll , make lots of noise! The Whisper Yell is always good for enthusiastic response. as here at Franklin Field.
