SCHOOL OFFICES Assistant principal Dale Douglas has an abundance of capable femininity on his staff. Standing around him, from left to right, they are Billie Sue Samples, Elaine Graf, Ruth Sanders, Sylvia Lacey, Sandra Kincy, Mary Jane Nycnhius, Sheila Delfield, Sondra Brawner, and Mildred Newby. Guidance counselor and visual education director J. William Brown has an efficient group of assistants in Carol Parker (seated). Bill McNall, Jim Lee, Ralph Oilman, Robert Fulkerson, Earnest Graf, and John Gorman. The smiles on these faces seem to indicate that Wileen Jones, Jerrie Cooper, Katie. Bray, and Kay Fuller are well-pleased to be assistants to coach Jim Riley in the Athletic Office. Senior Counselor Bonnie Wilkins, seated far right, looks pleased to have her helpers Emily Warner, Linda Rose, Linda Nichols, Dana Garfield, and Sylvia Lacey about her. Student assistants help in

WOODROW ADDS VICE-PRINCIPAL IN 1955 Mr. Douglas, a devotee of fishing, checks his line and reel so he will be prepared for The Big One Dale Douglas, Woodrow's first assistant principal, came .0 the Dallas Schools from the superintendency of the Pleasant Grove Independent School District. He has, in a few months, won the respect and admiration of the student body and faculty. Pop and Mr. Douglas hold a friendly conference in the hall at the beginning of school. (

Sending out call slips and collecting attendance slips are just a few of the jobs of Bailey Currin, Gary Jordan, Kenny Dance, Danny Hampel, Newman Bradford, Bill McClanahan, Margaret Buckmeyer, Sandra Rasmussen, Peggy Moore, Louis lockmon, and Daylene Reeves, who work diligently helping Mrs. lorene Francis, Dean, seated. Employed helpers are Mrs. Evelyn Phillips, and Mrs. Vagia Newman. SCHOOL OFFICES BUZZ WITH STUDENT HELPERS learning the fundamentals of nursing and helping school nurse Willio Mae Caldwell, type and file are some of the main duties of the clinic staff. They arc, left to right, seated, Sandy Schroeder, Joyce low-ranee, Nancy Dossett, Ellen Ray. Standing, Nancy Wilson, Nan Gubbs. Carla Cooper, Edith Price, Mrs. Caldwell, and Camille Pratt. With the coming of the Christmas season Principal G. L. Ashburn and staff slow up from their usual rush to enjoy a few of the cards received. Standing arc Bertine Crossno; Susie Downs, Secretary; and Rosanne Thompson. Business office assistants Pat Bowman, Phillip Adams, Sandra White, and Nancy Sharp, are listening attentively to school accountant Don Helms' instructions.
