DEDICATION The Colonel is perplexed over how his yard has grown up in weeds so quickly. With his woapon to combat the problem he sizes up tho situation. In Colonel George R. Royster, Woodrow Wilson is fortunate to have an outstanding musician and a forceful leader. He has devoted much extra time and energy to our several bands, developing the musical talents of the individual students. A man of high character, he wields and influence for good over his pupils, who love and admire him. Through his leadership our concert band has become biggest and best in the city. In appreciation, we dedicate this book, the 1955 CRUSADER, to our Colonel. This joke will do to toll! CRUSADER sponsor Paul Allen assures Col. Royster that the staff was only kidding whon they pretended to ask his advice on a pioce of music that really said, Congratulations, Colonol Roystor, for the 1955 CRUSADER will bo dedicated to you!
