Time has improved the surroundings of Woodrow Wilson High School, but the structure itself remains essentially the same. The 1928 (or earlier) model car on muddy Glasgow Drive has given way to high-powered convertibles, sedans, and trucks on a floor-like pavement. The infant shrubs shown on ihe campus are now in full maturity. Additional buildings dot the once vacant lots. The clipping of the story of the Housewarming of Woodrow Wilson was published in the September 15, 1928, issue of the Dallas Morning News and is reproduced from a microfilm of that issue.
