Woodrow Wilson Dads Club Presidents Message During these days of stress and anxiety we are all endeavoring to go the limit to help win the War, and when the war is won to estab- lish a peace that will be lasting and thereby prevent war in the future. Vlfe all have a duty to perform V-whether it be on the battlefront or on the home front, and it will require the efforts of all on the combined fronts to assure victory. There are many ways in which we can help on the home front, but l want to call your attention to one way in particular: The world of tomorrow will be led by the youth of today. There will be a great demand for trained lead- ership in religion, in government, in education, and in business, lt is the patriotic duty of every parent to encourage and assist his child in obtaining all the edu- cational advantages offered by , our schools and colleges that it is possible for him to secure. lt is the patriotic duty of every child to stay in school as long as possible. Do not be tempted to leave school for the temporary high wages available today as All that glitters is not gold. This is temporary and after the boom days are over and the battle of brains is on, and it is sure to come, if you have dropped out of school you will not be trained and it will be difficult to settle down and try to study again. You will be handicapped beyond measure and you and your country will suffer the loss. l appeal to you to remain in school at least until you graduate from high school and then continue in college if you can possibly do so. Live a clean life, play fair with yourself and your fellowman, associate with those who are fighting for right against evil, revere God and love country, then there will be no fear for the future. Sincerely your friend, W. H. BLANEY. OFFICERS W. H. Blaney . .... ...... P resident L. W. Ellsworth . ....... Program Chairman V. C. Layne . ...... Membership Chairman M. A. Newman . .
