Parliazzlezzfarirm PRESIDENTS MESSAGE Progress is the law of life, and the individual or organization that fails to go forward is already entering the trail that leads to decadence. Happily, and to the everlasting credit of its past leaders, the Woodrow Wilson P. T. A. has continuously pushed on to greater heights of usefulness. XVhile We have every reason to be proud of the record of our past leaders, our progress is and always has been predicated on the co-operation of all the members laboring unselfishly to make our organization of real service to the school and community. All values today are being tested in the crucible of an enlightened public opinion. Earnest boys and girls are in Search of the dependable and the true things. Experience shows that enduring values are human values. To make a better world, we must create better and more intelligent men and women. Economic depressions never touch invest- ments made in the business of building human character and illuminating human intelligence. Our organization in fostering and helping to promote education is lI0t only ex- tremely worth While, but is the highest service'to which We could direct our attention. Let us then rededicate ourselves, and with divine guidance, we together will endeavor to inspire the youth of today to greater heights of achievement. MRS. Hays BASSILTT.
