Students Advance to Solution Chemistry Team . . . the oldest club on campus, prepared students to participate in chemistry com- petition with all high schools in Southern California. In the Spring they had a chance to use the knowledge gained under the direction of Dr. Voisard by taking a three- hour test designed for advanced chemistry students. Chess Club . . . promoted interest in chess and pro- vided a place for students to play and de- velop their talent. An Exchange of Ideas AFS . . . an association which enabled selected Wilson students to spend a year abroad to study, also made it possible for foreign students to come to Wilson. One of their many activities was the an- nual AFS Stock Sale, which helped to raise the money to finance these students. This year two Bruins spent part of their Senior Year abroad. Wil- son also had three students from abroad. Exchange Students: Manolo Equiran from Spain, Lesley Stephenson from Australia, Norbert Landers from Germany. I vii!
