Radios and automobiles were glamor- ous, daring toys and Charles Lindberg was goggled for his famous non-stop flight across the Atlantic. Forty years later, we, the student body of l966, live in an era of radar, space explora- tion, nuclear wars, Batman, and the Beatles. Like those first students, each of us entered Wilson noticing only the physi- cal aspects ofthe campus. We saw Wilson as a single unit -- something separate from us as individuals. How- ever, as the senior class has discovered and the iunior and sophomore classes will discover, Wilson is not merely a grouping of physical facilities. lt is rather the reflection of each individual who makes his mark in its history. Forty years from now, when we recall l966, we will remember more than somber school buildings. We will re- call . . . pep assemblies . . . a climactic homecoming . . . red and gold madras
