Mr. Waffelef graduafed from Poly I-ligh, where he played baslcelball and where he was also on a nafional scholasfic medal swimming feam. From Poly he wenf fo fhe Universify of Soufhern California, where he was awarded a B.A. Degree in Business Adminisfrafion and a Masfer's Degree in Educafion. Mr. Waffelef came fo Wilson for fhe firsf Time in l942. Afler a four of dufy as a naval officer during World War ll, he refurned fo Wilson as a counselor. ln l95O he again leff school fo serve in fhe milifary forces during fhe Korean conflicf. Following fhaf war, he became vice-principal firsf af l-lamillon Junior High and fhen af DeMiIIe. In l957 he came home fo Wilson as vice-principal. Among his dufies here he lisfs fhe managemenf of sfudenf body finance. supervision of assemblies and The handing of discipline for seniors. Mrs. Roberfs hopes Wilson will always mainfain high academic sfandards and fhaf if will confinue fo produce qualified sfudenfs fo falce responsible posifions in fomor- row's world. As assisfanf principal, she sponsors fhe Girls' League, handles girls' discipline and prepares fhe masfer feachiing program. Mrs. Roberfs affended fhe Universify of California af Berkeley, where she received a B.A. Degree. She began her feaching career af Chaffey High in Onfario.
