Cut went Fir Aid, the obstacle course, navigation, war program swimming, radio, war hygiene, blue printing of batt ships and bombers, and host of others. In their place 'returned activities for peace and leisure and hapl: play and courses that benefit man kind, that uplift ideals. W W BOARD OF GQVERNQRS-Heading the Wilsoii student body to welcome hundreds and hundreds of returning Wilsoii men from the battlefronts around the world, the Wilson Board of Gover- nors have literally held open house in oflices, classrooms, halls, and in the ever popular patio through- out the entire year. Many difficult problems which arose during the year were straightened out through the executive ability of the Governors. The huge task of selecting school rings, granting gold footballs, holding emergency fire drills, and the final voice in deciding who was entitled to Gold and Jewelled Wls were a few of the many duties of the Board of Governors. gn ' NEW GYM-MThe new Wilsoii gym provided by the bond issue will go forward as soon as mater- als are released. It will provide a well rounded program absent since the earthquake in 1933. Included vill be a complete orthopedic unit, an 84 by 107 foot gym Hoor which provides two practice basket- aall courts and an exhibition court and 500 may be seated on this main floor, and telescope bleachers vill fold back to provide added activity. There will be badminton courts, volleyball courts, formal gym- nastic area, boxing and wrestling areas. A mezzanine balcony seating 700 will have telescope bleachers vhich will also fold back to make space for evening games, ping pong, shuffle board and other social ind club games.
