I Dlovies in l 36x l VISUAL EDUCATION-Wfith the inauguration of audio-visual education in the Long Beach school system, Wilson has enthusiastically given impetus to the movement by presenting dozens of films to supplement and stimulate class-room learning. Under the direction of Boyer W. Voisarcl, more than fifty different movies on diversified subjects including physics, chemistry, industrial arts, phy- sical education, personal health, history, geography, and music have been pre- sented before capacity audiences. Administrators and teachers alike are convin- ced of the ability of films to overcome class room limitations. Through the med- ium of motion pictures the world is brought into the class room 5 interest is stimu- lated, the retarded child is given a fairer chance for learning, and time is saved.
