Tenth Grade H.F. rejoins us. Miss Astle begins to prepare us for the boards, and we hate it. Doc Verterjoins the fun and shows us his machine which not only solves chem problems but hands out dots and upsets students Cmuch to the dismay of A.H. who collects 633. Sweet sixteens begin. Mrs. Feldman shows us that students can look older than their teachers. Mr. Jensen shows us just how long a class can take. Mr. Arnold and Doc Dwork decide they have had enough and head for California. Coops and Trav join the ranks and show us how the other half lives. Ben Munvies and Wayne Bloom say goodbye. B.B. puts a large hole in J.L.'s wall and regrets it for months. A.J. and A.H. begin their feud in math. Julie S. decides to head for the promised land. She also has her 'knee' fixed. N.M. 6 K.B. N.M. fr R.S. 126 Eleventh Grade Typewriters click away at E.T.S. and determine our future. Some cry while others laugh. A few of us begin our senior slumps. 6.6. and LB. are once again in love as he gradu- ates. Brad. G. shows us how truly special he is both on and off the soccer field as he takes both the scoring title and 99 from F.G. N.R. and P.F. pretend they are not seeing each other for about four months: one of them regrets it. N.M. and A.H. begin o lasting friendship which draws much speculation but little else. Barry G. joins the gang and soon earns a starting spot on varsity basketball . . . he also finds a dozen or so girlfirends by being a nice guy. W.C. finds a boyfriend . . . and it lasts. We almost have a prom. D.C. proves himself to be a future major leaguer as he dazzles Collegiate with his fastball. A.S. joins us and begins to chase S.L. . .. he catches her. We get our first taste of Model U.N. B.B. Cr W.C. have their first real feud. W.C. becomes the class president and doesn't attend meetings. We elect N.R. school president. We watch the grade above us graduate.

Eighth 6rade Mr. Copeland tries to teach us English and 6.L. teaches him about life. W.C. and A.H. battle it to the death in the same class. Mr. Weinbaum teaches us about alge- bra and Hawaiian dress. L.K. leaves for Florida for the first time. Where 6.6.'s bar-mitzvah awed us, .l.B.'s shocked us. We bid a fond farewell to Boot: he made an impression we never shall forget. His humor and his friendship were more than something special. We meet R.F. and teach him how to spell his name. We stop calling S.A. 'squirt'. Mrs. L. teaches us about earth science and perspiration. Ninth Grade Steve F. joins us and introduces himself slowly in Ms. Fahs' class. M.S.'s parents teach us about true hospital- ity while he teaches us about poker. N.R. joins us mid- way through the year. 5.6. opens a bank account for his winnings . . . A.H. and M.S. don't. Doc Seville and Mrs. Simon teach us nothing and call it european histo- ry. Everybody does well on the bio final except those who sit in front. We meet Mr. Ames and wonder if it is a mole or a birthmark. We welcome Sue P. and Pam F. who later become closer than the Bobsey twins. S.P. and 6.6. We hit 6reat Adventure for the first time and some of us bring back whips: M.D. has fun analyzing this. Niffer joins us and has her first taste of W.A. with J.B. R.A. shows us his moves both on and off the court. Mr. Puffer teaches us Geometry in his pre-'Billy Bumbry' days. . .from the Heckle to the N.Y. times book review. -In-1-. 5 5 -'Minis 2 Q

Twelfth 6rade We all come back ready and willing to start our senior slumps. A.H. has abandoned fifty pounds and more than one friendship. N.R. starts his career as a casanova with Lannie and Bronna: if only they had better names. F.F. opens at the back barn. We all learn thejoys of the Porthole, Back Barn, Chang's, and the Buckboard while 6.6. would rather spend his time at Xenons. Lucy 6. comes to school once or twice a week to demonstrate her senior slump. M.S. starts the year off with a girlfriend, but soon decides that he'd rather be free 6 throws a party for a thousand or so of his closest friends as his mom looks on in disbelief. We frantically apply to colleges: many decide on Brown and Tufts, but only a few get in. Madame breaks her leg and imports a substitute from France much to the dismay of M.K. who would rather break bones on the court than study. D.H. grows a foot or so and decides that he still doesn't like basketball. C.S. comes to Hal- loween in male clothes - A.J. and N.R. don't. B.6. falls in love with F.B., but it doesn't last. R.M. and H.F. make it through all of high school together. Half the school demonstrates their spirit as they pay Brandeis a friendly visit. and P.A. gives o cop fake l.D. J.l3. gets a Porche and 6.6. chooses alittle Alfa while R.F., M.S., and J.R. wouldn't give up their trucks for the world. B.C. takes M.B. out on a date and calls it an experience. B.B. throws a Homecoming party nobody will forget: es- pecially D.C. who turns green on the soccer field the next day. J.L. makes many trips to Farmingdale with D.B. and R.L. squeeze into the back of her RX-7. A.H. loses battle. Trevor teaches Rona and Mitch about obscenity as they both blush and he smirks. lf only the second half goes as well as the first . . . 127
