1978 Woodlog Editor: Jim Lewis Associate Editor: Michelle Kemp Sponsor: Bill Lea am the falling star — One drop in a sea of many; I know we could all get along together If only we had a little more love in our hearts . Each dawn heralds a new day ' - _ _ r Dusk holds the promise of dawn. Look to the day with quiet eyes and an open heart . . 1 Mt;; I i lli III km iVV k 7C W I Let peace glow throughout your day. Blown by all the winds that pass. And wet with all the showers . . It rains on umbrellas here But somewhere the sky is blue and clear. Be yourself!!! As dusk descends, we can look back on a time when anything was possible — and be filled with joy over all the simple things that made us wonder . f h ' Classes: Editor Nannette Collier Senior Class: Nannette Collier Junior Class: Kim Russell Sophomore Class: Cindy Pugh Freshman: Alecia Dean Senior Class Officers 1977-1978 X This is the time To look at yesterday, The fun, the disappointments, the happiness , Look at yesterday To learn from your mistakes. Look at tomorrow As your goals are realized. To look at your accomplishments To look at your set-backs. And say, I WILL go on to my dream! An entire life of learning To live with yourself and others. Learning from everburning experience. This IS the time To take that walk across the stage Dressed in the traditional cap and gown, To pick up your hard-earned diploma. Shake Mr. Wesley ' s hand . . . Say goodbye to yesterday. And be happy with tomorrow. by Linda McDavid • «♦.- • : . p I - Willie Griggs Patricia Hamilton Brigit Harris Tom Henderson DeJohn Henry Beverly Herring Randy Jordar Jamelle Kabase Amy Landroth Shirley Litlle|ohr Cheryl McElroy Arnelta MrElroy Marsha McFadden Roderick McKinney Regina Malone Thomas Murry Mike Molherway • 4, Ernest Perry Cathy Rill hey Sedrick Rutledge Sammy Rushing  V Donna Sargeant Rebecca Sartain 1 Ricky Shepard ( £ J I Barry Woodard Craig Worthy Anita Woody Becky Youngblood Senior Late Arrivals Carol Morgan ffii ' iTriiniTiM Junior Class of 1977-1978 Dennis Abercrombie James Aibarado Linn Amberson David Arnold Melanie Atchison Latanga Baker Tina Banks George Barnett Ken Barron Chet Batchelor Troy Bearden Mike Bell Steve Bircheat Paula Bishop Marilyn Boms Betsy Box rnw , Coltingham Ken Crantord Janey Crochet Teresa Crook Mary Ahce Crowley Danna Davis lly Davis Freddy Garzarek Q Steve Gentry Brenda Gephart Mary Lynn Gill il I Phil Heard Rita Herbert Jane Henley David Hide Karen Hill Mary Hill Willie Hill Donna I Hitt Jeff Hodgens Linda Houston Bert Hughes Jeffery Hugley Robbie Jackson Beverly Jackson Bridget Jarman Connie Jeffery ' .J W li I i« uddy King Tracy Klevar David Klie Jamelle Knight Shelia Knight Laura Lauderdale Kathy Lang Cathy Lawrence Paul Lawrence Robert Lee Perry Limley Joanne Lessman ' Mitch Lester Kenny Lett Wesley Leonard Jim Lewis Sylvia Lowry Emily Lyons TerrI Martin Mane Martin Sidney Mays Cathy Maughn Linda McDavid Norman McDuffey Sheryl Merchant Wesley McGill Sherry Misenheimer Rebecca Mitchell Susan Myers Marvin Nelson Cece Nicholson Rhonda Ott Wanda Roland Juhe Rousseau Belinda Rushing Skip Rutland Let the Good Greg Schelnert Mark Slay Willie Smith Denise Spence Terry Thomason Greg Vaughan James Walker Wayne Whitlock Sophomores of 1977-1978 Jenny Jay Dimick Drummonds David Ricky Egger Egger Sophomores Best!!
