Parent-Teacher Association 1961 The Parent-Teacher Association is a vital part of Wood lawn High School It consists ol fathers, mothers faculty, and other interested adults. The officer' elected for the 1961 year are: president. Mrs. Van 0. Pilgrcen; first vire-president, lr. Lewis Bice; second vice-president, Mrs. Lloyd March: third vice-president. Mr. R. M. Youngblood: secretary, Mrs. I). C. Logan; treasurer, Mr. Ralph Martin; and parliamentarian. Mr. Virile Morris. More things are being accomplished this year than ever before. Membership falls about one hundred people short of reaching one thousand. The athletic field is being cleared and sodded to provide more playing space. The Crest wood Optimists Club gave the language department a Hi-Fi record player after list of thing needed were prepared from departmental information by the P.T.A., and sent to each of Woodlawn’s civic clubs. In order to give our teachers the recognition they deserve, the P.T.A. has planned a program in which parents will visit teachers in their classrooms. Officers pictured above are: STANDING, Mr. Ralph Martin, treasurer; Mr. R. M. Youngblood, third vice-president; Mr. Lewi Rice, first vice-president; Mr. Azclle Morris parliamentarian. SEATED.
