It is rather the fertile soil in which the Ameri- can boy and girl takes root, grows and develops into adulthood. p This is not only scholastic in nature. It is more than that. It is the age of molding ideals, developing standards, selecting friends. It is a period of experimentation, of testing, of try- ing, of selecting, of discarding. In all, it is the AM HICAN YOUTH as he is. In this annual an attempt has been made to record, at least, a few of those activities through picture and word which are so vital a part of a present day education.
