Registration of the secondary school depart- ment had increased considerably end thus there was a definite need for nn organization thnt would represent the entire student body ns well no the faculty for the purpose of promoting harmony thong the respective orgunizdtiono und developing n school and en oxtrn-school program that would meet the needs of the stu- dents. 1 This organization through its critical analysis of existing practices, through its suggestions for improvements and through its willingness to corpronise, has done nuoh to develop u unific student body, to'uromote nutunl understanding and thus to make Woodlnvn High that it is today. 1+
