SEVENTH GRADE Dear Diary, What a change. Now we have a different teacher for each subject and a different room for each teacher. Several of our classes are even in the high school. It kind of makes me nervous being around those big high school kids. I am enjoying school. There is so much to learn and so many activities to go to. We have volleyball and basketball games and I can even try out to be a cheerleader.

SIXTH GRADE Dear Diary. The sixth grade has been terrific. The people are great. For Instance. Charles Laxton has a way of making you laugh when you are down In the dumps. And Mrs. Jackson Is a good sport over losing a game of checkers during winter recesses. The whole class Is full of great friends. We had a lot of fun this year, like when our reading groups had to act out biography reports. Aimee Elfrink was Dolly Parton. Carol Rhodes was Elvis Presley. Dawn Rhodes was Lady Di. There were several good reports enjoyed by the entire class. The class learned about dental care, drug abuse, and lots of neat things. We even had a class election between Reagan and Mondaic. We got to write to the candidates, and several of us received a booklet in the mall about the White House. Elijah Allen received a personal letter from President Reagan discussing some of the campaign Issues. Al In aH. It's been a great sixth grade year. Students of Mrs. Jackson's class

EIGHTH GRADE Dear Diary. After a year of adjusting to junior high life, we are used to class changes, schedule choices, etc., but there are still a few new experiences to face — such as the BEST test (Basic Education Skills Test). The biggest change is knowing that high school is just around the corner.
