The Woodland FHA has been very active this year under the direction of Mrs. James Rahm. President Con- nie Godwin presided over the monthly meetings and several large projects were continued. The girls hosted a successful chili supper preceeding the Homecoming Festivities, and the annual FHA Ban- quet was attended by some 200 peo- ple. FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA Mr. Jewel Mooney, Woodland agriculture instructor, has worked many hours promoting the Woodland FFA Chapter and as a result the boys have a fine reputation throughout the area for their efforts. The FFA Chapter raised stock and crops as learning and experience pro- jects, and worked hard to promote a Community Safety Program. They regularly maintain a Community Park, but the Woodland FFA is not ALL work. Each year they host a banquet, and a weekend camping trip on the St. Francis River. This year they also had a skating party and a hayride.
