DEDICATION BOARD OF EDUCATION The yearbook this year is being dedicated to a group of people who have put much effort and time in furthering the education of the students of Woodland School. They receive little or no rewards for the effort they put forth, but indeed these efforts are appreciated by each and every one of us. The members of the Board of Education are, left to right: Claude Stone, superintendent; Winfred Upchurch, T.H. Husky, Jr; Gladys Bolinger, George Barker, president; Howard Greer, Claude Angle, vice-president, and H. Glen Moore, secretary (not in picture). The members are elected by all qualified voters of the Woodland School District. There are two members elected each year for a term of three years. The yearbook staff on behalf of the students of Woodland School is proud to dedicate the 1965 Cardinal to the Board of Education.

VIEWS OF WOODLAND Offices of the superintendent and high school principal, along with classrooms and separating hallway, are seen from the patio. The main building of Woodland School nestles between Bollinger County hills. This view of the home of grades 3 through 12 is from a hill south of the building. Looking from the patio between wings of the building, the photographer re- corded the spacious and light library in which every high school student spends many study hours.
