WOODLAND HIGH SCHOOL LUTESVILLE, MISSOURI FACULTY SENIORS JUNIORS SOPHOMORES FRESHMEN JUNIOR HIGH ELEMENTARY FAVORITES ORGANIZATIONS ATHLETICS ACTIVITIES DEDICATION With his spirit of accomplishment, keen sense of humor, and friendly cooperation, through all his years at Woodland High he has served as advisor to the CARDINAL, giving material aid and always encouragement to the staff when ideas were being formulated. For his many contributions to this school and community life, but especially for his great service to the yearbook, it is with great re- spect and admiration that the Cardinal Staff dedi- cates the 1958-59 CARDINAL to Mr. Richard Elfrink JANITOR Mr. Ora Welker COOKS Left to right: Bernice Odom, Freda Crites, Glenda Stevens, Eva Clubb. 1 H r V SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Just as this yearbook is not without purpose--so that your school days may be vividly remembered--so all of life should have purpose and meaning. Without worthwhile purposes life will become meaningless and a drudgery. One writer said it this way, Life con- sisteth not in the abundance of the things we possess. If we spend all our time and energies trying to gain material possessions we will not have found what our existence is all about. True happiness can be enjoyed daily only as the right relationship exists between us and our creator. All of us should have an eternal pur- pose in life from early youth and strive to fulfill it.
