The Woodland Park Girls track team had a successful season setting 3 new school records in the long jump and 330 low hurdles and the two-mile run. Five girls qualified for State this year, two long jumpers and the 440 relay team. The two-mile time was broken by Terri Lingren, running at 14:53.73, the 330 hurdles record was broken by Shelda Yenter at 55.52 and Renee Foote leaped to a 16'9V2 record. The Boys team had a rewarding season, having made way for the under- classmen to come through.
