A three-story building, with auditorium on the third floor was constructed to house the new school. In the '20' the auditorium was condemned as Lmsafe. The gymnasium was then used as assembly hall. In 1933-35, the pres ent building was completed along with a dormitory to house teachers and boarding students. In the '30' many students from out of the community came to school at Woodland. In 1956, a modern building was added to the school plant to accommodate Home Eco- nomics, Agriculture, and a cafeteria. as Gym 2 Teacherage TH E SYLVAN W 'RIGER5 hi 0 0 5G Oo cu IN I K .E J: X 7 Z z A NOK an z I U 5 zfflgqy U H- 1 I 0 I E 'lf Q fu Q9 I5 U 1' I 5 is 5 fGERE11'G S PUBLISHED BY THE SENIOR CLASS I WOODLAND-OLNEY HIGH SCHOOL 5 Woodland, North Carolina ea 'EJ E Ann Futrell .......
