Clarence Revelle ROPOTEBT .... .. Billie Vaughan A class of nine members, five of whom are officers, is the Junior Class at Woodland-Olney High School. Obie Lee Doughtie made the tenth, but he left about Christmas to go to school in Roanoke Rapids. Though few in numbers the Juniors have made themselves felt in all phases of school life. Sith the help of the Sophomore Class Janet Todd was elected by virtue of a penny a vote the most popular girl in school. Vearly WIVS. -went into the total Hallowemen Receipts because these boys and girls worked so faithfully. The Juniors were doubly rewarded. From the fund came finances for the Junior-Senior banquet and a trip to Williamsburg. John Snipes, Janet, Billie, Willie, and Clarence played varsity basketball. James was a member of the seed judging team that won first place in the federation. James also sang in the quartet which entered the federation singing contest. Clarence is vlce-president of the local F,F,A,, while Janet is Vice-president of the local F.H.A. Janet made a nomination speech for Betty Griffin at the county rally. Willie, Billie, and Clarence attended F,F,A, camp last summer. In the field day contest for the federation of F.F.A. John won first place in the baseball throw, Billie helped win first place in the horse shoe pitching, and James was a member of a relay team. Tne gradeparents are Mrs. J. A. Vaughan, Mrs. Andrew Duke, Miss Marguerite 'T0dd, and mx-g.R. T. vick
