may Pep Club ' Miss Lauterbach, Patsy Clark, and the Pep Club did a splendid iob this year in keeping up school spirit. A rally was held toward the end of football season at which pep songs, yells. and skits were presented. A dance was given the next nightfor stu- dents and alumni. The annual Valentine dance honoring the junior and Senior King and Queen of Hearts was given on February 14. This year Patsy4Clark,.iHenry Hum- mels, Mae Swenson and jesse Bay took the honors: The Pep Clubalso presented several skits during the year and they gave the senior basketball players green felt megaphones with their names embroidered in white. The final event of the year was the banquet held in the spring. A Dramatics Club A This year, with Miss l..I1LlltJ l7.tLll as advisor. and Estelle Thiel as president, the Dramatics Club voted to become a chapter in the National Thespiaus Organization, but due to lack of membership. this was postponed until 1947. New members were taken into the club, according to the rules of the Thespians. An initiatory party was held at the home of Estelle Thiel. A stocking dance was sponsored by the Dramatics Club. The junior members of the club look forward to a successful year as Thespians next year.

J im Johnston Reporter ....... .......... D onald Baillie During the first month of school, the Greenhands were initiated. There were 21 Greenhands at the formal initiation at Ridgefield. The F. F. A. traveled to Portland in the fall to the International Livestock Exposition. In the early part of the year, a Work program was planned. A judging team was sent to Ridgefield for a potato judging contest. The F. F. A. boys used the tractor for custom work and garden plow- ing around Woodland. The chapter planned to send judging teams to all the larger judging meets. The Woodland F. F. A. played in the F. F. A. basketball tournament. They were almost sure of winning second place when they had Vancouver tied, but they lost during the third overtime when they dropped back one point. The F. F. A. sponsored a booster dance on February 21. The annual F. F. A. Banquet was held on April 2 at the school. It was an evening of enjoyment for the F. F. A. boys a.nd their parents. The chapter has planned a fishing trip for early summer soon after school is out.

Ghostly Quarantinen On the nights of December ll and 12 the junior class gave their mystery play Ghostly Quarantine. ln an old southern mansion frequented by ghosts of the Ku Klux Klan and bats, the characters were quarantined to spend some rather exciting moments.
