N an Dawson Mr. Matson The first event of the year was the annual initiation of the sophomores on Octo- ber 11, In addition a party was given that night, The class decided upon Master Engravers Sunburst rings and many bought rings and pins. The junior class play, Ghostly Quarantine, was the mystery-comedy type. The play was held in December. The juniors sold more magazine subscriptions than the seniors in the annual drive for funds and, as a forfeit, the seniors took the juniors on a skating party. A stationery sale made S21 for the class. The Junior-Senior Prom was held on May 24. The Prom chairman was Lucille Turpin and the theme was Melody Lane of Memories. P

Lois Scotberg, Lee Sadlier Due to the fact that Lee Sadlier held two major offices, he gave up the presidency to Melvin Brainard shortly after the election. Initiation was the first big event of the year. After a day full of leering juniors armed with paddles they were rewarded with a wonderful party given that night. The sophomores were tired, but happy to have passed one more milestone in their school life. The class decided to have green and white sweaters with numerals only. The class color is gold.
