E U2 UU GP HE ii L.N T JE AN CD OE BN ST LP ER NI N SC EI OP UA DL Administrative Review Mr. Jacobs, Superintendent of Schools, has now completed three successful years at Woodlmd. During his administration he has been responsible for the renaissance of a truly-all-school music program, the benefits of which have extended throughout the community. He has also done much toward plans for the new school building, lights for the football field, and has supported other civic and educational improve- ments. In the spring of 1946, a fire in the shop building caused some damage which affected classes in the fall. Repairs are now completed and the schedule is back to normal. Mr. Stroud has returned to the principalship at Woodland 'after four years in the army. He has done much this year in improving social and educational school activities. He has been advisor to the school publications, the Beavertonian and the Vfocowa, and to the Student Council and the Associated Student Body, the student governing bodies of the school. His work with all of these has been outstanding. The Student Council has assumed more and more responsibility in shaping affairs of the students. Clubs have made progress in the year also. Booster dances were given by different organizations after home basketball games. Proceeds went to the general student body fund.
