Nalurally lhis large class comes from a school of size-now seven hundred and Jrwenly. So 'rhe compelilion in sporls and aclivilies grows lceener. Bur many members of 'rhe Class of IQ36 conrribured 'foward winning championships in fool- ball, baslce+ball, fennis, lraclc, and baseball. By emphasis on lhe imporlranr scholaslic side of school, rhis graduaring class in ils Senior year, l935-36, averaged +hir+y-live per cenr on every honor roll. According lo a recenl census, il was learned 'rhar many are planning on more schooling afrer gradualion. The Senior Dance, held in April, was a grear success, revealing anolher abilily of rhe versalile Seniors. Bur rhe nighl of June 7 broughl lhe climax, a beaulilul ouldoor gradualion held on The spacious alhlelic field. The sevenryepiece uni- formed band furnished color and music under lhe lloodlighls, which illuminaled 'rhe scene. X . .
