Any girl who has a student body card is eligible to belong, but only girls with one hundred points are active members. At the end ot each sport season, a party is given by the otticers ot the organ- ization, at which time team and point awards are given. Outstanding among the events ot I936 was a play day in which one hundred girls trom other schools participated. For this year the otticers ot the G. A. A. are: president, Janice Baird: vice- president, Francis Fayhing secretary, Maxine Dutcherq treasurer, Pat Koch: adviser, Miss Edna O'Brien. Basketball and hockey, two ot the atter school sports sponsored by the G.A.A., were won this year by the class ot '37, Although the Seniors ran them a close sec- ond, the Juniors managed to come out on top. Estella Mumma was captain ot the victorious hockey team, and Maxine Dutcher led the basketball team to its victory. The tollowing Juniors were members ot the championship teams: E.
