ers 'N MEMORY On April 15, 1959, the Woodland Community School lost a strong pillar of support For forty years Mr Joe Brown served the people of his co munity He was elected to the Homer School board in 1919 When the Homer School district joined Woodland in 1947, he became one of the members of the board During these forty years of sometimes thankless work, Mr Brown and Mrs Brown had ten children who all attended Woodland School They are Boots, Bert, Dot, Warrior, Maxene, Gene, Don, Bill, Rachel and Dale The work of this great man will always live Life!
