Their schedule was tough and they only won one match. It seemed they never could get everything together. The team worked long and hard and it paid off because they did win quite a few individual games. Every game was played to the glory of God. One thing that stuck in the back of their minds was that it did not mat¬ ter if they won or lost, it was how they played the game. If they knew within themselves that they did their best, it made accepting de¬ feat a lot easier. The team often got discouraged and felt like giving up, but the one person that kept them going was their coach, Mrs. Robin Chunn. Everything she did was with the team’s best interests in mind. She was the best coach the team had had in a long time. There was a special love between the team and their coach and that love was all they needed to have a winning season within themselves. As anxious team members look on, Lori “ranklin returns a ball. ncentrating on the job at hand, Rhonda leppard serves up another point. Working together pays off — Jaymi Huff sets up Beth Tuttle for a point. While Cindy Holland prepares to back her up, Jaymi Huff bumps the ball over the net. Volleyball 35
