THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR BLESSINGS ON US The moment that seemed so far away, is suddenly upon us. The moment we’ve dreamed of, hoped for and talked about has finally arrived. We’re excited, happy, and very proud of our accomplishments; however, a certain sadness lingers in our hearts. You see, amidst the joy and excitment we must now say good-bye. Down through the years, a special closeness has bonded our class together. A closeness like that which unites and strengthens a loving family. We’ve laughed and cried together; we’ve listened to and learned from one another. And together we have lifted our voices towards heaven in prayer. We’ve rejoiced in the good times as well as the bad. For without the valleys there are no mountains. And those valleys only seemed to bring us that much closer. Now as we become the Graduating Class of 1981, we are closer than ever before. As we embark on a new phase in our lives, the many memories rule our hearts and minds. It seems So hard to put into words our true feelings and emotions. It seems almost impossible to say exactly what needs to be said. In the years to come, the page upon which the words are written will age and the print will begin to fade. But in our hearts, the words and the feelings they convey will live on forever. And now to Woodland Baptist Christian School we say good-bye. However, to those with whom we’ve shared so much we find it harder to bid farewell. As we lift our voices toward heaven now we ask these things, “Lord, please walk with each of us, and when ones burdens seem to heavy to bear, reach down and share the load. Keep each of us safe and may we always be found in the center of Your will, and then on that great day, let us all be assembled back together in Thy kingdom up above.” By: Connie Jolly Class of 1981
