Jeff Orvin Mark Gough This year we were fortunate to send 1 student to Boys’ State and 2 students to Governors’ School. Mark Gough attended Boys’ State June 15-21 on the campus of Wake Forest sponsored by the American Legion. His area of study was political processes, and how a democratic government is run. Jeff Orvin attended Governors’ School at Salem College. His area of study was in Social Science. Car¬ rie Combs attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg N.C.
