The valedicrorion and salurororion for rhe class of 1982 were Aniro Huff and Sherri Vogrmon respecrively. Cirizenship Awards were presenred by rhe foculry and adminisrrarion ro Sen- iors Dorry Ehle and Wando Hadley. Nor- mally only one cirizenship award is pre- senred ro a member of rhe groduaring class, bur becouse rhere were so many oursronding young men and women in rhe class of 1982, ir wos decided ro pre- senr rwo awards. Treva Srurzmon re- ceived rhe DAR Good Cirizenship Award which is bosed on dependabiliry, service, leadership, and porriorism. Today ' s Moments Are Tomorrow ' s Memories After many weete of planning, May 15, 1982 finally orrived when rhe junior doss hosred rhe Junior-Senior Prom Held or rhe downtown Holiday Inn, rhe evening was well-planned for rhe guesrs who ore first a dinner of tossed salad, sreah, French green beans, baked poto- roes, rolls and apple pie. The next event was rhe presentation of the Senior Awards to the following surprised and astonished recipi- ents: Penny Pinchers — Sherri Vogtmon and Mark An- derson, Closs Flirts — Lisa Love and Dill Smith, Best Dressed — Kothi York ond Mike Mull, Most School Spirit — Shori Schurg and Todd Drown, Most Likely to Succeed — Anita Huff and Mike Mull; Most Pleasing Personolity — Pom Arnos and Devin Anderson, Most Conceited — Lisa Love and P ick Gerig,- Class Clowns — Bonnie Miller and Dill Drown, Most Easy to DIush — Jill Ehle ond Jerry Hommon; Most Studious — Anita Huff and Martin Dusche. While guesrs smiled for the photographer and others amused themselves with the extra activities in the sur- rounding area such as a pool table, mina ture golf and o quaint little arcade, the bond, Edge, set up for the entertainment. The crowning of the Queen and King took place during a donee break. The suspense built as the runners- up were announced. They were: Third Runners-up — Vicki Doty and Gory Vondron; Second Runners-up — Kelly Woebbeking and Curt Emenhiser, First Runners-up — Lynette Liechty and Mitch Armbrusrer. Yvonne Kocer and Drent Werling were crowned Queen and King. When the evening had ended, there were precious memories to cherish and furure proms ro anticipate.
