Student Life: Visions of surviving the system School, contrary to the opinions of many, is not all work. Much of a student ' s time here is spent outside of the classroom. Approx- imately 1 hour and 15 minutes of each student ' s day here at Woodlan is spent somewhere besides the classroom. The pictures on these pages show how that time was spent in the halls, restrooms, cafeteria, library, courtyard, and outside. This is part of Student Life.

Students relax inside, outside classrooms Visions of sleeping and eating. These were another small part of Student Life. Sleeping and eating are part of basic human functions and were car- ried on here at Woodlan to some degree. While teachers strove to teach their students some could not resist the temptation of catching forty winks. Food was served dur- ing the 15 -minute break as well as lunch periods. Since students were not allowed to leave for lunch almost all students ate at school every day. Ac- cording to a survey taken by the Pow Wow most students are satisfied with the school lunches. 1. K.
