These were only a few of the remarks heard during campaign week here at Woodlan, City mock elections were held this year to give the students a chance to vote for the Senior candidates they thought would help them best to run their city in the future. Each class (part} ' ) picked a name and a few planks to follow. After all the speeches were over, there was time for a rebuttal. This opened the floor to the POW Party and they could ask a question to any party they chose. This brought about some very interesting questions! Cindy and Rosemary were the first two juniors to join the staff, giving them a little know-how for next year. There was never a dull moment with Kam, Chris, and Sandy. They worked really hard and came through when the going got tough. Last, but certain- ly not least, is Mrs. Wetter. She has patience and understanding, two very important qualities needed as yearbook advisor. It seems as though we had a thousand and one questions, and always she took the time to answer them. Without her we never would have made our deadlines, in fact, without her there probably wouldn ' t even be a yearbook! This is Mrs. Wetter ' s last year as advisor and librarian. She is anticipating her long vacation, but yet, hesitantly looking back at all the memories. She is planning to travel through the United States, enjoying life and taking it easy. Her friendliness and helpfulness has touched each person she has met. Her smile and all the things that make her Mrs. Wetter will long be remembered by all. To you, Mrs. Wetter, we wish a heart full of happiness and a warm farewell.
