The Woodlan Mixed Choir is a group of sixty -four students who have sung literature that represents most of the periods of music history. They performed at the winter concert, spring concert, the school talent show, and the Northern Indiana School Band, Orchestra, and Vocal Association contest. The group earned an Excellent rating at this contest , Their final activity will be providing music for the Baccalaureate services . N WM ' X . 29

Madden, P. Brenneke, J. Lantz, C. McLain, J. Meyer, C. Stellhorn, A. Shifler. This group of fifty girls has presented music representing several periods of history. The Glee Club performed at the winter concert, the school talent show, and the spring concert. They also earned an excellent rating at the Northern Indiana School Band, Orchestra, and Vocal Association ' s contest. During the first half of the year, the choir was under the direction of Mr. Theodore Taylor. A change was made the next semester when Mr, Carl Nicholas of the New Haven area came to Woodlan and took over the choir. Mr. Nicholas has proven him- self to be a dedicated man and well -qualified to maintain the highest standards in to- day ' s vocal music. 28

' Uaw iAlOtMy PojvoAjU ' ' The ' 67 Junior Senior Prom was held at Lighted Acres on April 29 with music by Woodie Neff and his or- chestra . Monte Gerig was the Mas - ter of Ceremonies . A delicious meal was served and was followed by the reading of the Senior Wills . The King, Queen, and Attendants were then announced . They were as follows: King, Monte Gerig; Queen, Judy Gerig; Attendants, Darleen Delagrange, Alan Korte, Jackie Kennedy, Dennis Knoblauch, Pam Hoeppner, Terry Hirsh, Rita Schmidt, John Ball. The evening included dinner and dancing. Some of the decorations were a fountain and punch hut. 30
