Honor students and award winners Don Delagrange, the top student of the Class of 1966, has been an active member of F.F.A. and has held offices in this organization. Among his other interests were Student Council and Youth For Christ. Don was also class president his Freshman year, and he was class treasurer as a Junior. After graduation he will divide his time between farming and classes at Purdue Extension in Fort Wayne. Brenda Etzler is this year ' s recipient of the D.A.R. Award. This award is given by the Daughters of the American Revolution to one senior girl in each school. The girl is chosen by students and faculty for her qualities of dependability, leadership, patriotism, and service. The winner of the Citizen- ship Award this year is Keith Gerbers. The student who receives this award is chosen by the faculty for his qualities of character, citizenship, leadership, and scholarship. Kathleen Emme attended Harlan High School until this year. Her main interests center in music and math, her activities including four-year membership in band and chorus and membership in Wood- lan ' s Math Club. She was also a member of F.T. A. --College Prep Club, newspaper staff, N.I.S.B.O.V.A., and was Harlan ' s delegate to Girls ' State. Kathy has been accepted at Ball State University for the 1966- ' 67 school year.
