Initiation The annual initiation of the greenhorns was well attended by both the dignified Seniors and the Freshies on a warm September Friday evening. Each Senior was responsi- ble for several of the greenhorns so even if your imagination runs wild you won't be far from the truth when guessing how those forlorn Freshies were dressed. It was a sight to warrn the heart of any loyal Senior. After niake-up had been properly applied and also charming rope bracelets, the groups raced each other. How? by pushing onions with their noses, of course. Also, for those inexperienced and uneducated persons ofthe group, we whetted their appetite with a bit of garlic. Next came the proverbial blindfold, bare feet and an escorted tour around the pavillion. Such queer and unexpected things as did happen then w ere entirely une:-cplainable--almost. Then came the refreshments which were, as usual, thoroughly enjoyed by those satisfied Seniors with the Freshies looking on uninter- estedly for some strange reason. This concluded the Freshmen's formal welcome to Woodburn High School. f D., ,I I4 ff g 4? 1 S if a This Page Is Sponsored By DELUXE CLEANERS WESTHAVEN FLORAL Sl-IOP New Haven, Indiana New Haven, Indiana
