V' v R R Q 4 1. lllxjfxx. 1 I N X ' v 193: T f The Baccalaureate service for the graduating class of Woodburn High School was held on May 6, 1951, at 7:30 P.M. C.D.T. The class march was played by Miss Ruth Stoller. Reverend C. N. Moser, pastor of the Missionary Church, gave the in- vocation and Reverend Seth Painter, pastor of the Methodist Church, spoke on the topic, Redeeming The Times . Music was furnished by the high school mixed chorus and the Junior choir both under the direction of Miss Ioan Schiele. Commencement exercises were held on May ll, 1951, at 8:00 P.M. C.D.T., Dr. Lawrence W. Hess, director of the Fort Wayne Vocational Guidance and Counsel- ing Service, Spoke on the subject, The Four Major Adjustments in Life. Superin- tendent Lawrence Foote presented the diplomas to the graduating class. Several se- lections, including the processional and recessional, were played by our local school band. Senior Recognition Day was held the afternoon of May ll, at l:30. All awards were presented and all honor students were recognized at this tirne.
