Dear Readers of the Arrow: We, much to our sorrow, lost Bonnie Ruble, and are starting our Junior year with only nineteen members. We held our first meeting on September 7th and elect- ed officers, with results as follows: Nancy Gatewood . . . . . President Jim Hauke ........ . . . .Vice-President Barbara Voorhies. . . . . . Secretary-Treasurer Larry Eby .............................. Reporter During our school months the activities were as follows: in September we held our electiong in October we sold Christrnas cards and received our class sweaters. November 3rd and 4th we presented our play, Springtime For Susie , under the di- rection of Mrs. Wilrna Wetter, with the cast as follows: .Tim Hauke, Larry Eby, Arlene Scheiwe, Betty Sweet, Florence Webster, Mildred Schaper, Sandra Roemke. Nancy Gatewood, Phil Harris, Cletus Miller, Nancy Scholstrate, Donna Lampe, Ruth Stoller, Leroy Wiesehan, and Barbara Ort. On the second night we presented Mrs. Wetter with a gift of appreciation and afterwards everyone gathered at the home of Mrs. Wetter for a cast party. Also in November we received our class rings!!! On January 27th, we held a bake sale at Gompf's store. On February 14th, we began our magazine campaign. Arlene Scheiwe and Cletus Miller received Oscars for selling over S 100 worth of magazines, and Arlene received a watch for being the high- est salesman for the class.
