For example, the girls have become famous for their tasty tacos, and they make them several times a year to tempt students and faculty alike. A trip to Paneho's is usu- ally on the calendar, and it is an evening of great fun for all. This year in addition to the regular activities, the members gave gen- erously of time and effort to several charita- ble endeavors. The Spanish Club is one of the oldest organizations at Wooddale, and it is sponsored by Mrs. Betty Bourland. 74

S PQ R KJ OFFICERS If The Latin Club began the year's activities with a super slave sale. For two days ninth graders served the upper- classmen as lowly slaves. As usual the banquet was beau- tiful - gay with gorgeous costumes and laden with delec- table food. One of the most unusual activities this year was the booth at the open house. While all the other clubs were selling various things to make money, the Latin Club was graciously serving typical Roman food to par- ents and friends. Needless to say their booth was the most popular place at the open house. Kav: Haye, Maureen Witt, Donna Reddin. Chris Cooley, Chuck Garrett, Chris Smith. 73
