This year members of the French Club experienced something different at their annual banquet which was held at Justines. The guest speaker was a charming French teacher from St. Agnes who related her trip to Europe and her experiences in France. The members of the club enjoyed the au- thentic atmosphere and the magnificent meal, including Crepes Suzettes. Ou la la! The members participated in singing Christmas carols in French around the neighborhood. They also sold delicious French pastry at Open House, and it was hard to determine which created the greatest sensation - the marvelous food, or the cute waitresses in their fril- ly caps and aprons. Jaycees The Jaycee Club at Wooddale, pri- marily a service club, is a junior auxilia- ry of the national businessmen's organi- zation. This year the Jaycees sponsored an information booth about the school and a pie throw at Open Houseg they sent Christmas packages to Vietnam, helped to teach a Leadership training course with the other Memphis Jaycees, and also sponsored Career Night when students and parents were able to learn about probable careers.
