The Kiwanis Club, many members of which are parenfs of Woodbury High School sTudcnTs, arranged for various men and women, living in and around Woodbury, To come and Tallc wiTh The sTu- denfs abouT Their own careers and The offerings of The fields in which They were employed. lviany of These people also were parenTs of Woodbury High School pupils. From The wide range of businesses and professions represenfed, each sfudenf chose The Two careers in which he ThoughT he would be mosT inferesfed and affended conferences wiTh The adulfs represenfing These Two fields. This career conference served a Twofold purpose: iT gave The sTudenTs more knowledge abouT careers in which They mighT be inTeresTed and iT afforded Them an opporTuniTy To meei' people from This area who were in These fields and To whom The sTudenTs could Turn for fuTure advice. The career conference was a significanf sfep, for'iT showed a genuine and helpful inTeresT on The parT of The pa'renTs of This area in The fuTure of The sTudenTs of Woodbury High School. ALUMNI ROY K. CLEMENT, 'I4 ROY K. CLEMENT Roy K. Clemenf graduafed from Woodbury High School in I9I4. ln high school, he helped organize and was firsT Treasurer of The WhiTe and Gold, which was a magazine aT Thaf Time. He also helped organize The Woodbury High School Y.lv1.C.A., which is now known as The Hi4Y. He has been leader of The Woodbury Senior Hi-Y since I9I2. AfTer graduafing from Woodbury High School, he aTTended and graduaTed from Peirce Business School in Philadelphia. He was Then employed by The Horace T. PoTTs Co. in Philadelphia, and is sTill employed There. He served in World War. l as corporal in The 335Th Machine Gun BaTTalion.
