Alma Mater Oh, Woodbridge Alma Mater, Thy praises let us sing, Through the three long years of high school May we honor to thee bring. In football and in baseball, In basketball and track, May we always prove most loyal to our dear old Red and Black. And when our course is over, And we leave our school for aye, lVlay our mem'ries often lead us, Back to Woodbridge High School days, Where we spent such happy hours In work and pleasure gay, So let us turn to help her, Wher'er and when we may.

Page 2 Nineteen Seventy Seven - Our Year Our Sophomore year began with feelings of excitement and fear, for we didn't know where we were going to. Each time we tried to get to a class, all we heard was Take the elevator down that hall. Within days, however, the whole building became a familiar home, and we felt at peace. This feeling soon turned into a thrill we never before experienced as the basketball team became State Champions. lf only our class could make such an accomplishment! Quickly enough, though, our year as neophytes concluded and we had an idea of where we were headed. With the beginning of our junior year, we drove along the road to where we were going with confidence in future success. ln October, we received our class rings and proceeded to sell the renown junior Class Candy. Will we ever want to see chocolates and mints again? The Marching Barons started out in the right direction and knew where they were going when they completed an undefeated season taking the first place trophies in competitions and parades. After our Cotillion, Nights in White Satin, we realized where we wanted to go as the night dawned into a new day. All too soon, the year which was our destination was upon us. As upperclassmen, we were sure that no one knew a better way to go than our class. That accomplishment which we had striven for was nearly attained when the football team became State Championship Finalists. At the Senior Masquerade, Funeral for a Friend, we didn't know which way to go because of the tricks and treats we would have found. Senior Charity Week was the best ever as we turned to help needy families of our community. With january upon us, we found ourselves in an enchanting Winter Wonderland. And as winter turned to spring our thoughts centered on the upcoming Senior Play. Who could forget that final, sentimental night of the prom at the Westmont Country Club - our last gathering as a class at Woodbridge. Suddenly graduation arrived. It gave plenty of forewarning, but nonetheless, it was still unexpected. We must say goodbye to the dances, the clubs, and get to where we're going to, even if it means college, the working world and getting out and standing on our own two feet. So the time has come for ties to be broken, for friendships to end. We will always treasure and remember our friendships, hardships and accomplishments in High School, but we must look forward to a new path of life, a road that will take us to where we're going to.
