fs.-, M ,BL ., K, Begg? 3MagQLY Page l 54 Soccer This year the Barron Soccer Team is said to be the best, posting a 9-6-4 season, the best in 15 years. lt was the first team ever making it to the second round of the State Tournament. Captains T.j. Kostecky and john Chirico added to the victories with five assists apiece, while john Beck was high with six. High scorer went to Dave l-lohn with TO goals, while john Chirico was next in line with five. The nine victories could not have been made without the assistance of goalie Dave Policastro and joe Sheehan, who gave up only thirteen goals per game, and the exquisite display of defensive play by john Mansfield, Gary Poos, Russell Watson, Bob Blake, and Steve Xenakis.
